About the Project
To increase students’ access to quality literature and reward those students who enjoy reading, we propose to place a ‘Book Vending Machine’ in the Multipurpose Room. Students will be awarded tokens (qualifications will vary by grade level), to purchase a new book for them to keep. Students will then be able to leave ‘book reviews’ on a nearby bulletin board to encourage other students to participate. Our long-term goal is to motivate incoming students to become lifelong readers.
