About the Project

The Katella Film Academy provides Katella High School students the opportunity to develop filmmaking skills and create short documentaries focusing on bringing awareness to issues in their communities and creating change. Students will storyboard, prep, film, edit, and archive real-world documentary projects of their choice focusing on his/her community and showcase these projects to an authentic audience.
