Meet the Project Coordinator

David Weed

Greetings! I teach English and Cybersecurity (CTE) at Nogales High School for grades 9-12. Currently, I serve as the advisor and coach for the Nogales Esports Team, a program established during the 2024/2025 academic year. For me and many who play video games, my interests in the fields of technology and science can be directly linked to playing video games growing up. Recognizing the costs associated with pursuing these interests, our initiative aims to mitigate barriers to entry for our students, enabling their participation in the competitive and dynamic realm of esports and fostering their engagement in STEM, Business, and Entertainment fields.
