About the Project

Three Rings Ranch Elementary School is ready to re-envision and transform how we teach writing by combining a makerspace mentality to create, collaborate, and innovate, with teacher-tested, kid-approved best practices in writing instruction. The Room to Write project will create a makerspace-style Writer’s Lab, a year-long partnership with the Inland Area Writers Project, author visits, and writing field trips and assemblies. In this school-wide writing makeover, writing will be the unifying thread that ties together our AVID, PBIS, Equity, NGSS, and VAPA initiatives, honoring and celebrating the voice and passion for all students and teachers.
