About the Project

“Seeds To Success”, an ASB club at Loma Vista School, educates student club members on how to turn their Phase 1 project; construction of a commercial nursery and growing grounds into Phase 2; a retail area with additional community sale sights. Participants learn the retail side of growing annuals, perennials and succulents, along with seasonal vegetables and herbs and decorative trees such as Japanese Maples. Students will also work with a locally well-established florist shop, specializing in cut flowers, to learn about their business operations at their Corporate Farm. Teaming with them, our club will grow a commercial pumpkin patch and operate a seasonal cut flower cart. Locally, we will work with prior established businesses to sell our product from our “Seeds To Success Retail Garden Center” at their business locations.
