About the Project
This expansion grant will enhance the Orestimba High School Musical Theatre Department and its afterschool program that involves students from fourth grade to twelfth grade. Participating students have an opportunity to be on-stage, backstage, and running lights and sound to produce a performance of a two-act Broadway musical theatre show, tentatively scheduled to be, “The Wedding Singer.” The program brings together students from multiple grade levels and experiences to perform at a local theatre with an audience of community members, parents, and guest artists.
