About the Project
The ED Talks project showcases Katella High School students as they present on a problem they would like to solve within their community, major, or career interest. These talks are student-driven, student-led, and student-produced using the project-based learning model as a foundation. Students choose topics that are personal and they feel passionate about. The students choose which presentations should be showcased, shoot and edit each presentation in a TED Talk format. These talks lead to exciting civic engagement, conversation, curiosity, skepticism, openness, critical thinking, and action.
