About the Project

My C.R.E.W. (Creating Resilience Empowering Wellness) is a student-led mental health initiative that fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where students can prioritize their emotional well-being. The program reduces stigma around mental health through education, peer support, and advocacy. Through workshops, creative activities, guest speakers, and partnerships with mental health professionals, students build resilience, learn coping strategies, and access vital resources.

Meet the Project Coordinator

William Cullen

My name is William Cullen II, and I serve as the B.S.A.P. Psychiatric Social Worker (PSW) at Washington Preparatory High School. I also advise the Black Student Union (BSU) and My C.R.E.W. (Creating Resilience Empowering Wellness). The funding awarded to My C.R.E.W. creates a powerful opportunity for students to lead workshops, promote resilience and wellness, build a strong identity, and leave a lasting legacy on campus. Outside of work, I enjoy playing softball, attending live music events, and traveling.
